The Pezzini winery is situated at Bande in the Cavriana municipality.
This little village is important because it is presumed to have been Virgilio's birthplace. The property extends in this setting surrounded by pretty hills. Since the beginning of the twentieth century the Pezzinis have been running the estate which consists of 10 hectares of land D.O.C. vineyard hectares.
Ten years ago the winery was renovated adding modern equipment which enabled not only the production of best quality wines, but also the expansion of the marketing.
The wines are sold directly.
Guided tours are organized for groups to visit the vineyards and the winery by arrangement.
Booking is always required for guided tasting tours.
